Problem With HDMI connection to TV

Hello,

Having a bit of an issue with my computer/TV set up.

I have been using my TV as my main monitor for the past month or so, and have just re-connected my computer monitor to use as well and instead of duplicating the screen, I set them up to use them as one extended screen, but now my sound is not playing through my TV?

Have checked computer settings and speakers are still set to the Toshiba TV, everything is enabled and supposedly working, but no sound?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Tracy I have a HP and had the same problem, fixed it by doing the following.
Make sure HDMI cable is connected to PC and Laptop.
1. Go to control Panel
2. Hardware and Sounds
3. Sounds
4. Select HDMI, Right Click.
5. Set As Default
