pc speaker system vs home theater system

How would a logitech z680 system or a klipsh promedia 5.1 ultra compare to a low end home theater system, the panasonic sc-ht900 all in 1 home theater. It was 500$ when i bought it. What can i expect from those to pc speaker systems? Do they compare to low end home theater systems?

the 680's are AMAZING for a small room, where as a home theatre is made for a bigger area. I use my 680's as my home theatre systeme in my bedroom and it works like a charm, but it wouldnt be to good in a bigger room.

the thing is i alredady got a home theater system in my room, a panasonic low end, home theater in a box.

i think logitech z-680 will do a lot better. i'm using my logitech z-560 thx certified and it sounds a lot louder and more clarity than my sony home theater. i've tried to move my z-560 from my bedroom to my living room, and it shakes the room loudly
