Default Outputting image through HDMI, will the laptop specs make a difference to the image?

Hello,
I am purchasing a budget laptop which its purpose mainly is going to be for multimedia playback while it is connected to my HD tv. The laptop is an Asus X555LA, and while it is a good budget laptop, I'm reading quite a few complaints about the screen and display. My question is, since the screen isn't so crisp and clear, will this affect the image that is going to be on my HD tv as well? The laptop is going to be connected to the tv almost all the time also.

This is where I read the negative responses about the screen: Asus X555LA - Display, Benchmarks & Conclusion | 2 | Expert Reviews Asus X555LA - Full Review & Benchmarks

Thank you for any help in advance

No the built in screen won't affect the video output through HDMI.
