I got my Logitech Z680 speakers awhile ago and I hooked my pc up to it with Optical line and It sounds great! I am planning on hooking up my Xbox to it as well thou, that brings a problem since there is only 1 optical input for the z680's.

My question is if I should buy an optical splitter, or an optical switch. Im not even sure if the Splitter would work the way Im planning, but it would save me 20 bucks if it would. Any suggestions?

Also any Idea on how I could hook up my Sony Wega up to my speakers with an optical line even thou the only output on the Sony is a left and right analog stereo?

Thanks

It sounds like the splitter would work, but to tell the truth, I've never tried to do this to an optical line.....the only type of "adaptor" I've even seen for optical would be more like a peice of hardware (a mixboard or Sound Card)....let us know, though.....
