I just bought a new 5.1 speaker system (analog connection) and so I tried to install it, when I installed it on my SOund blaster audizy zs 2 gamer and rebooted, windows xp loaded but suddenly the screen went all black and the pc just locked right there. I rebooted a few more times and the same problem persisted so I went into safe mode and uninstalled the audidy driver, but the problem continued. ???

FInally I uninstalled the nvidia drivers and then it started to work. I'm not sure what the problem is since both cards worked fine on my other speaker but when I use this new speaker there seems to be a conflict between the nvidia drivers and the speaker. Does anyone have any idea of what I can do here? maybe a new driver? ( I tried both the official drivers and the omega drivers).

I got a computer with
pentium 4 1.5ghz
486 mb ram
40 gb hd
Nvidia gerforce 4 ti 4200 64 mb ram
Sound blaster audigy 2 zs gamer

there are hundred of people with your setup with no conflicts. do you have pinnacle software? that software sometimes conflict with nvidia and soundblaster together
