Noobish Napster Question

I am thinking of buying a 3 month gift card for a friend, but does that let him download as many songs as he wants, and put them onto a CD player?

They come in a certain amount, ex: $15 card gets you 15 songs, and a $35 card gets you alot more.

When you get a gift card he will still have to get his credit card down I am almost positive, and he will have a limit on the songs he can get.

Just go out and buy one the song cards from a local place and you can get the songs with no credit card, just a free membership to napster, thats what I do.

He/I want to both use it actually, and it would be cool if there was some way to get unlimeted downloads, is there any way?
There are about 30 CD's between the two of us I am guessing we would want to share the subscription.
So, what I am asking is, is there an option where you don't pay per song?
