no sound

hi guys i have upgraded my laptop but now i have no sound/audio device installed is there any way i can fix this ??

also the laptop has no internet connection so ill have to download it on a cd off my desktop

It's probably a Realtek Audio Device. If you attempt to install the driver and no realtek device is found then the driver won't install. So it won't hurt to try.

Post up your laptop model. E.g. HP Pavilion dv6
Then I'll be able to find you the right driver for your onboard sound.

And yes, the link slay posted was something to download to fix your sound. BUT it might not be the right one, so as I said just post up your laptop model number.

What operating system are you running? xp? windows 7? vista?

that's the link to the driver page for your laptop, just pic your operating system and it'll take you to the driver download page. Then download the audio drivers. OR post up your operating system and I'll link you directly to the driver you need.

hmmmm...there doesn't seem to be any driver support for Vista for your laptop.

try this link anyway though. It's the audio driver for XP, worth a shot.
