Ok, so I bought some new logitec 5.1 x-530 Speakers.. i was intending to get a soundcard at the same time but didnt fit in. but anyway, i thought that was ok seeing as my mobo has built in "7.1" sound.
ok so from the back of the main sattelite, ive got 3 plugs.. a black an orange and a green. I've plugged them into their corresponding holes and have found that I can only get 3/5 speakers to work. If i plug the green into green, my back speakers and my centre work.. but the front dont, and if I plug them into the standard hole where u plug headphones in, the front ones work but the back ones dont...
this is kinda confusing. I know its not a problem wiht the speakers as I tested them out on my friends soundcard... Do i need to invest in a soundcard or am I making a mistake ?
