Nero is being retarted!!!!!!

Hey, i have nero 6 and whenever i put a blank cd in, it says there is no cd in, so i cant burn like anything, its really gay. If anyone knows what i should do, then please speak now, or forever.....anyways i need help. thanks.

Have you tried a different type/brand of CD? Has this kind of CD you are trying to use work before? Can you still read normal CDs?

try turning auto-run on or off

have you put any sony label audio CDs in your computer and tried to copy them before?

Are you sure you have a CD-R/RW drive?

in response to Elbatrop1: no, but one 10 times i try the cd it burns, but all the other times its like "please insert cd in drive", and yes

the general: Ill try that, and i have used sony cd-r's b4 and use them now but the problem stands.

Snake-Eyes: unless thee is something posessing my cd drive to burn cd's im 99% positive its a cd burner, i mean last time i checked "cd rewriteable" meant it was a burner. jm dude nothing personal lol.

check and make sure you have the drive selected in nero, instead of the image drive.

I tried that and i got another version of nero and that does the same thing, so i relly dont know what else to do
