I got a hand-me-down of bose QuietComfort Acoustic Noise cancelling headphones, but still have crappy on board sound. I listen to a lots of music and play tons first person shooters. Im looking for a decent card thats good for music and gaming. Im quite confused. I want to keep it under $100 if possible. I was thinking about sound blaster audigy 4, but it seems like the auidgy 2 is better or at least thats how its seeming from their website.

for sub-$100 an sudigy 2 would be good. however, for something around $115, you can have great sound with a Creative X-Fi. the X-fi also has a 24-bit crystalizer and some headphone CMSS 3d which gives your headphones surround sound.
