Digital, then to analogue, then back to digital, then decoded into digital once more (once it reaches there pc) then back to analgue.'

Your loosing a lot of signal purity from all that.
Wereas analogue would be. Analogue -> digital -> still digital -> analgue. in my opinion.

You will get way better sound with this than any computer mic, seeing as it is an entry level pro mic.

Its also a condenser, so you will be able to talk just siting at your desk and it will pick up your vocals well.
