Hey, i have the creative inspire gd580 speakers, and a month ago we had a lightning bolt hit near our house and it fried lots of our equipment. I checked out the speakers, and i heard a hum from they so i got a new set.
its a month later, and i want to find out if they still work. i tested out each speaker individually, and they work. however when i hook them up to the subwoofer which is hooked up to the decoder, i get the buzz. does this mean that i should get a new decoder (such as the creative ddts-100) or do i need a new sub?
sorrry if this is a bit confusing, and i don't think that there is a way to test the receiver or sub individually.
