After Installation of win xp for some reason theres no sound. i check the system and theres a question mark beside multimedia audio controller. i would download the driver but i dont know whick sound canr is installed. can anyone tell me how to fin out which card is inatalled and where i can donload drivers. thanks

open your computer and check... there should be written on sound card which brand and type it is...

XP can read .zip fies as a folder, so if it's in a zip file, copy and paste them files into something like C:\sound card drivers\
right click on My Computer and click properties
then go to hardware then device manager

under sound, video and game controllers right click multimedia Audio Controller and click update driver
in the new window, choose install from a list or specific location then after that choose don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
then browse to the folder you copied the drivers to, and select the .inf file. it should automatically select your hardware from the list in the .inf, so click next and it will install
