MP3 / WAV ---> Midi Question

I got my new Nokia Mobile Phone where I can upload Midi files for Ring Tones. Is there any program that will allow me to convert MP3 or WAV file into midi?

haven't tried it myself but after reading up on it a little it seems to be what you're looking for
and of course, there is always cdex to convert the mp3 to wav

Yes, it works, but only for one instument at a time. Even atr that, the output is pretty horrible. As of now, there is no way of converting music files (wave or mp3) to midi) automatically. It can be done manually of course, by using a midi sequencer program

The midi2wav one works fine because it simply uses your soundcard to play the midi file and records the playback at the same time.

The wav to midi program produce sesults that are barely recognizable as music!
