MP3 question

I recieved a Portable dvd player from Axion. It plays dvds. cds and MP3s. I use a music system on my computer that I think are considered MP3s. Does anyone know how I can hook up the songs onto my DVD player, and if I should need extra equipment, what to get??
P.S Im really not good with technology and stuff, so please try to make your instructions as simple as piossible

You need to burn mp3s onto a DVD R in data mode.
