mp3 player... Help me on this one..

Not because I hate or love ipod.

I looked at some other mp3 player.. and almost all of them are better then ipod. For example T9 or Sansa e200. They have a lot of more features for less money.

I have one, never failed me yet, a good 6-8 Hours playback and durable.

My second Reccomendation is the Creative Zens.

ok.. here is few..

Sansa e200 vs Ipod Nano.. (because they are in almost the same price range..)
For Sansa ($100-$200) and Ipod ($150-250)

Sansa play video (Ipod Nano does not)
Sansa and T9 have 1.8 screen.. bigger.
Sansa have FM/AM radio
Sansa can record.. your voice and from radio.
Sansa have removable battery..
Sansa can use mini-flash memory card (upto 2gb for now)
Sansa and T9 have much nicer GUI.
Sansa and T9 have longer battery life. (T9 have like 30h)

(many of those features are also in T9)

And more...
And both are cheaper.

Why would I even think about getting Ipod nano?

and for me.. 2 or 4GB would be plenty.

I would not need such big amount of GB... And the 30GB or what ever Ipod is kind of large (the size).. And I don't care about video.. So for sure, I would not need so much space.

I can change the songs and albums from day to day. or week to week. Not a problem. (Any way.. I usually listen to one group of singers.. and others.. only when I feel like to listen them. Or listen one month one group and then later forget about them.. But maybe later remember about them once more).

I not sure about Sansa or T9 would last only few month. Ipod video can last even less. Its all depends from the user.
Also take in consideration that Ipod Video use HDD not Flash Drive... You drop that Ipod video.. You would have more chance killing it. Ipod Video have more movable parts etc..
