Movies all distorted and green, colors all messed up...why?

I recently reformatted, and i notice almost all movies/videos in .wmv are all distorted and messed up. There usually all green and messed up. Any idea why? Not sure if its just .wmw, but i downloaded a few quicktime videos and there fine.

Any idea why this happens.

uhrmm maybe try updating your ATI X800 to the latest Version of drivers

It is, every driver i have is updated.

Chances are good that it's just the movie's. I download movie's all the time and most of them have some sort of distortion due to people re-coding to different format's.

Well lots of people i assume got it to work, but its all messed up for me, as well as a few other movies.

Oh well, probably need winamp or something.

try playing the movies on a different computer

if they work, the get winamp, and the klite codec pack and you should be good to go

The only movies that come up green for me are corrupted ones in DivX.
