Hi,
I'm having a curious problem.
Few weeks ago, i've posted about a motherboard problem.
I've just buy a new one, a A7N8X-X of Asus. Fine. Problem solved.
But now it's about the audio integrated chipset (nforce 2 audio).
First I had problem with 5.1 sound, it didn't played out correctly, i've dwl the lastest drivers on Nvidia.com 4.57 (6.14.0457.0).
About correct (still having some minor issues but anyway).
But now i've plugged my microphone, yay... doesn't work at all.
Normally on a 5.1 card, all three connectors are use has outputs to stream to all 6 speakers (5 satellites + 1 sub) correctly.
You have to put it back to 4 or 2 channels to let the microphone connector come back to a input channel. Right?
Well... it doesn't work at all, as if it didn't switch back the audio connector to a input.
