Hi. While recently using Teamspeak, (A program to talk to other players while playing a game) i get a wierd effect. I play with a mic and headphones, those like you would use in an mp3 player.
I plug the mic in the pink port, headphones to the lime green one. However, the other players can only hear background noise- not my voice.
I know that my mic works because i used it on my last computer. I've plugged both of these into the front and back ports on my computer.
My soundcard came with my motherboard, which is : Abit NI8 SLI , with Abit AudioMax 5.1-Surround sound card.
I know my jumpers are set up right too.. i had my friend look at them.

Any ideas on what i could do?
