Mic doesnt work!@#!

for some odd reason my microphone stopped working, I checked the control panel and I also tried my headset too and the same problem

Have you possibly damaged it?

USB or Sound Card Connection?

How can I check my sound card..cuz I seem fine to me..except for the mic
