I have been using winAVI to convert .AVI to DVD files...
Now when i try to do it (with any other encoding apps also) i get
"INSTRUCTION AT 00000000x0 COULD NOT BE READ AT MEMORY LOCATION 00000000x0"
and closes the App instantly...
I have installed NERO 7 just latley and that App still works but the conversion takes over 2 hours and has a stuttering effect on the frame-rate....(winAVI took 30mins AND put chapters in during conversion)
I also experienced (at the same time so must be related) problem with explorer shutting down when clicking on an .AVI file - due to error when reading the file for the preview window in explorer... I found a forum with a thread about it and disabled the media preview in explorer---now that part of the errors is ok but still i get the above error when trying to use winAVI or any other similiar App....
can any1 PLEASE help? maybe you know how to amend or know of another APP that is as quick and reliable as winAVI...
