As I get older, I find myself getting out of the loop with new technology and what it does. Things are changing so quickly, and withthe obligations of life, I'm finding it difficult to keep track of things.
This is what I would like to do, but I have no idea if it can be done, and if it can, what I need.
I have my computer in one room. I would like to access the multimedia files (video, photos, music) from the computer to view on my television in another room. I would also like to be able to access the internet from the television in the other room so that I am able to access media like streaming audio or video sites, or online photo albums.
Without investing in a SmartTV(?) or another videogame console (I know I can access my computer media files from my PC with my PS3, but I can't use it for streaming internet content), are there any options?
Going to the city today, and hope I can pick something up if it exists!
