Whenever I open up Aion, or in fact any Full screen game such as world of warcraft, call of duty 4, or Age of conan. Almost always at least one of these things happen:
-All speakers muted
-Speakers not muted, and sounds outside the game muted, but the game sounds work. This is almost always accompanied by Loud, distorted frequencies which could be described as a humming or grunt sound.
-One speaker works, usually the front left, usually with the loud noises
-In game sound and out game sound work, but with loud noises.
In wow, cod and aoc, I could just change the input located in the game settings, which temporarily fixxed the problem. I would change it from System default, to SB Live, to Realtek HD, until it would work. and it usually would.
But Aion does not have this option so here I am.
I have updated Sound Card, and 5.1 Surround sound system from Logitech, Model Z5500
