I am the Director of Music at Collins Baptist Church. We want to update our sanctuary a bit more, we have presentation software and sound already, but we want to incorporate video. We want to do two things, record each service so we can make DVDs for our records and to give out to shut-ins and hospice care people. We also want to simultaneously send a live feed of the service to the Nursery in the back of the Church so the nursery workers won't miss the service.
I had a camcorder in mind, but have found out that it may not be compatible with both recording AND transmitting. Canon VIXIO HF R20 Refurb. The TV is a 15 inch LCD 720p, HDMI, VGA, Component, Coax, hooks. Basically, here's what I'm looking for:
A Camcorder that can receive an audio input straight from our sound system, and can record video to memory and send a live feed.
The cable required to send this feed to the back room. Preferably Component, HDMI is way expensive.
