I have a Fujitsu siemens amilo 1630a laptop that has a feature of being 5.1 compatable.
I have just bought a Kinyo 5.1 home theatre system.

My problem is how do I connect 6 channel RCA leads to a minijack SPDIF output socket?

What do you mean "it has a feature of being 5.1 compatible"?
Do you mean it has a built-in 5.1ch sound card?

I don't know much about how to connect them and stuff but usually, the the sound card has 6 imputes (if 5.1ch) were you can plug the speakers in...

If you dont mind if the output is 5.1, there is this device that can connect you computer audio to a stereo or TV or surround system wirelessly...(not sure if the sound remains 5.1ch...I guess it becomes stereo sound)
You can check this link here...

Hope this helps!

Hi as an update I have since found out that my laptop has a Realtek ALC655 soundcard which has 16 bit duplex stereo and that the audio input/outputs on the front of my laptop can be configured for 5.1 channel surround sound.
I still don't know how I go about coupling the 6 rca jacks that the sound system has got with the laptop but I hope to find out eventually.
