Hi,
1)I have bought a headset microphone which plugs into the green and pink audio sockets. My problem is that the headset, which used to work perfectly, suddenly does not record. I can listen thought the headset, but not record.
2)Recently, my friends tried to record using the above headset and a usb microphone, but found they couldn't. They messed around with the sound recording settings, but i can not see how to restore all the setting to a time when it worked perfectly.

PS. I can't system restore because i have installed too many programs and it was too long ago.
