Limewire just closes

I dont know why, but recently when i click on limewire to open it, it loads for a second, then just closes out. i tried re downloading and installing, it didn't work.
Anyone know what could be the problem? Please post back, thanks!

Yea I stopped using stupid Limewire because I got a virus from it. I sucked. It would like take a bunch of Hard Drive space with out even downloading anything. It really sucked. So I would check for viruses and delete Limewire.

Same thing happened to me, faulty java update.

Go to add/remove programs, remove the Java runtime update. Fixed if for me.
