Another problem with P2p is that some people who share their HD's..... I can steal their legit CD keys.... Like Doom3 CD keys for example. All i have to do is search the file named "DoomKey"

Went to install "Warez" pp2 and MS Spyware Beta went nuts! In addition, I run Xcleaner which found tool bars and adware installed. No matter what anyone else says, this is not a recommended open source for me! I finally had to do a restore point recon of XP to get rid of the crap that hit my puter! Shareaza and Limewire were both clean.

Shareaza is pretty good. I use it mainly for d/ling programms but not songs but I think that you should give it a try.

Thats funny, I never got one, and Ive been using limewire for years...

Well I Limewire itself is not laced with spyware/virii, But you can pick up virii and spyware if you are not careful on with what you download.

It really comes down to common sense. For example: dont try to download Windows XP with a download size of 800kb.
