Long time since a PC problem happened that I couldnt handle. Anyway,

I turned on my PC today and my PC's speakers didnt work. These are speakers built into my laptop. My sound card is, SigmaTel C-major Audio.

I looked into the sovolume control pannel, and the volume for everything was at it's highest level. Not to mention nothing is muted.

Nope, i tried un-installing and re-installing the drivers for my sounce card. I know my speakers work, i tried using them on my linux partition, and they played perfectly.

I have these other sound devices, Legacy audio. What if i try to change those?

It is there. . . I wonder what is going on. . .

Legacy Audio drivers are just the drivers included with XP i guess, since i have them too.

C-Major Sigmatel Audio must be the Audio card. It's enabled and the sound is up? Maybe driver issue then..

By any chance you couldn't hear anything through your laptop's speakers when you were trying to play online radio like My Station in Yahoo Messenger? Cos I had the same problem few hours ago, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Now it's ok. Think something must had been wrong with the station or my lousy ISP's broadband connection.
