I just got a toshiba satellite, I love it but I do have one problem. The speaker (at least i think its the speaker) makes a constant scratching noise. I have taken a few diagnostic steps, so here is rhe nitty-gritty.
The sound only exists when I am not plugged in (using the A/C adapter).
The sound goes away in safe mode (weather pluged in or not).
Muting the speakers and turning the vollume all the way down does nothing in normal operation mode.
If anyone has had a simmular issue with a nore book and knows a possible solution, let me knw.
