is there anyway to convert a kvcd file into avi or mpeg, so that i can then convert it to mp4 or h.264 so itl play on ipod video

Maybe you can have a try on WinAVI Video Converter

mplayer/mencoder, specifically the mencoder program for re-encoding-------many apps including winavi converter use the mencoder dll or program to do this, its free and open source, winavi converter is payware

Im am currently working on a visual basic app to do this, its gonna be a few weeks though.
