ID3 tags

I have about 700 songs that need to be organized.
I am looking for a program able to use the file name to create the ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags.

Itunes uses id3 tags on Ipods i think

I am looking for a program that looks at the file name. Like this:
File name: Scooter - Maria.mp3

and the program should put this in the ID3 tags:

Artist: Scooter
Title: Maria

Try itunes then, personally i hate itunes tho

I installed Itunes. It doesn't have an option to do this. I am gonna try MusicMatch.

Damn. My MusicMatch is corrupted. Re-installing did not help. Can anybody suggest another program?

try another version of musicmatch. email me tomorrow so I can reinstall trillian

or you can try mediamonkey

I tried 8.1 and 9.1. Don't work. And Itunes somehow screwed up my Realplayer or Quicktime plugin.

Try MP3Tag-maybe it will do what you need.
