i screwed up big time.

ok so, i took away a folder that tunes needs to work with. here's my question, i still have the set up thing if i re-install It would i be able to just transfer all my music to a new itunes library?.

as long as that folder you deleted wasn't the music folder, then yes. Its no big deal.

you can manually take all the music off of your ipod and then just transfer it into your itunes. I think thats what you mean
