How do I make my mic receive output sound from my computer?

Assuming Windows 7 or Windows 8:

Right click the speaker icon in your icon tray (near the clock) -> Recording Devices -> right click your microphone -> Properties -> Listen tab -> check 'Listen to this device'

Thing is this only makes me hear my own mic receive sound, what I meant was, how do I make my mic pick up/receive the sounds that I can hear in my headset, so I can play a tune and the person I'm talking to also receives that sound. Sorry if I was unclear.

I played around with this and the only way I could get it to work was to take 'Y' cable pluged into the spkr out and then pluged into the mic jack WITH the headset mic also plugged in.

You are makeing a loop circuit for both mic in and spkr out.

Just watch your levels.
