How do I change default video player

I loaded Nero on my computer and it set my default video player from Media Player to Nero Player. How do I set media player to be my default video player?

Go to whichever media player you want, in the options, there should be an option to change file associations. Change those that you want to open in that program.

and then some of your file will still be associated with showtime and if you click on one, they will all be associated with it again
