How can i record sound and video

i have a number of programs such as
camstudio
camtasia
and hypercam

for all of them i can't figure out how to record video and audio at the same time.I have a vista laptop and i just want to record audio and video at the same time.

i want to record my screen and what i hear from my speakers.

I know that Camtasia has this. I have used it several times. If it doesn't work it may be that your onboard audio doesnt allow for this to work.
