Headset for PS2 Adapter?

Hi There,

I have here a "Genius HS-02N" headset that plugs in with the two stereo pin plugs (one for headphone one for microphone). I was wondering if by using one of those usb audio/mic adapters it would work with a PS2 online? If not is there someway I can muddle with the wiring to make it able to be used via usb on a PS2?

OK I'll give it a shot at buying a usb adapter... if not i can use it for the pc... I have a socom 3 headset anyway... looking for a spare
