Have a question about Bearshare.

I wanted to know if Bearshare was a better program than Limewire. I think its legal. Is it or is it not. Does it have viruses.

Bearshare is legal. Any P2P program is legal, but you are not allowed to download everything. Some things will be illegal to download by P2P in your country.

For downloading MP3 files use Shareaza. For downloading video's, software and complete albums, use µTorrent.

I guess people don't understand this - Someone else is uploading to you. It could be a virus, it could be child pornography. It could be whatever that person feels like sending you.

Yes, depends on what they are sharing.

Any good antivirus (eg. Avast) scans most P2P programs.
