Getting audio/sound from using S-video cable

I just got my pc/tv hooked up together and the video works fine, actually much better than I had been told it would. But there is still no sound cuzz my pc doesnt have RCA cable jacks so i cant use those to get sound on the tv copy of whats playing on my pc.

My pc does have a vga slot in back as does my tv, should i go out and buy a vga cord, would that get the sound to work?

I don't think the VGA would work, you could probably use one of these though.

First one is cheapest, second and third one are different length brand name Monster cables.

so okay but where do you plug the solo plug on those cables above into ur pc? in the speaker hole or mic hole? cuzz my pc doesnt have red,yellow,white rca holes.

Also is there a plug that for the pc end for audio it uses a usb plug? cuzz my pc has plenty of usb slots but no rca slots other than a blueish "line in" slot which i dunno what that even is for. my pc speakers are hooked up to the greenish line in slot and then theres a redish mic slot but no rca slots =/

The single 1/8 end is the same size as your speaker plug, so it goes in there, and the rca end goes in your tv next to the s-video cable.

You might want one of these if u want to keep your tv and regular comp speakers connected.

you can't make the video part of the computer make sound. hook those wires to the green plug
