free driver repair

ok, i usually have this problem and its annoying.

i use to have my scanner, cam and speakers connected but for some reason or other (IE: move the desk around) i had to disconnect them and don't reconnect them back for a whiles. When I do decide to reconnect my scanner, speakers and cam the icons are gone and I have trouble downloading the repair for them.

A while back a friend directed me to a website that fixed drivers which in turn fixed both the cam and speakers to work again. Well, I can't remember the website and my comp was wiped clean since then. Can you guys direct me to a website that will fix the drivers for free?

What models/makes are they?
You should be able to go to their websites and dl the most recent drivers

ok i dl'd the update from the website even rebooted comp

and it's still not working.

Under audio for some weird reason its showing no audio device and i can't set the speakers from 2 to 5 speakers.

Correction now i can adjust the amount or type of speakers but i'm still not getting sound.

Not all of the updates took for the sound driver which happens to be SB audigy

The file or driver that didn't update according to the driver update thingy was Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device
