My computer is in my desk, to the left of my chair. The cord coming out of my headphones is on the right side, meaning if I want to wear them properly I have to have the cord going across my body to my computer, which is rather uncomfortable and inconvenient. Most of the time I just wear my headphones backwards, but of course that switches left and right making it very difficult to play games. Is there a way to make my computer switch which channel is which, either by changing a setting in windows somewhere, or by a third party program?

Open up the headphones and swap around the cables terminating to each driver unit ;)

Other than that im not sure..

Hello,

There is no such feature in Windows XP. However, some sound cards (usually prosumer and high end cards) will allow you to configure the audio matrix in the audio software.

You could just buy a 3.5mm stereo extension cable to solve your problem.

Then I wouldn't be able to lean forward. If the cord was long enough for that, there would be no problem.
