i need to find a software for making movies, cutting videos, and general film editing . i've been using "windows movie maker" in the past but want to try something a bit more open ended. i have a camera already so just want something to put my music video together, or whatever i might be doing. i'm looking for a software that's not too expensive or professional, and also easy to learn and use. any suggestions?

I highly recommend Pinnacle Studio, I used Pinnacle Studio 9 for quite some time before upgrading to Adobe Premiere and was very pleased with it's results.
