An economical soundcard that can service a nice speaker system?

I am not looking for the most high end sound card out there, just something that will produce some halfway-decent quality sound and make my speakers/sub produce good sound.

Any suggestions?

From your posts in like... damn near every other category I assertain you merely want to power a 2.1 system? To be honest, most chipsets (onboard) nowdays will do more than fine on that job. Its only when you want to get into 5.1-7.1 that you need to consider bigger options.
