I have a few problems when burning movies saved on my hard drive to a DVD. Most of the time it works ok but others the sound is out of sync with the video, this is after the burn and I'm watching from the DVD – the source file on my PC is 100% ok. I was wondering what this might be and if there is an easy way to solve it. I am using ConvertXtoDvd.

Also I have a few HD movies and I have used ConvertXtoDvd to burn them to DVD. Some have worked fine but others have no sound. I'm not sure if that's because they are HD or what but they also be fine on my PC.

Any help would be great

Check which video codec you are using and make sure both of them are set to match and keep up the same speed of the originl recorded video or project vdieo done by a multimedia suite.
I recommend for some videos you keep the FPS 29.97 at 720x480 using mpeg ii based codec video or mpeg4.
Avoid using xvud with a avi's as sometime the encoder and decoder does not get it right.
