dvd from pc to tele yes but no sound

well hi there all
i got some films on my pc, that i want to watch on my tele, so i got a s video lead and put it in my pc and into video, great the films come on to my tele great , but no sound i now know that s video does not carry audio,
any ideas pease anyone,
newish comp pent 4 2.8mhz new 128mb graphic card

get a mini-audio to RCA adaptor(also called mini-plug to RCA) and a pair of RCA audio cables at best buy, radio shack, circuit city, ect. plug adaptor into the sound card output which is usually color coded green. the left and right audio channels go to your tv and the other end connect to the adaptor. here's the picture of it:

Monitor receivers do not have sound inputs.The audio is part of the the video track.

my friend has comp. now how, so what ever you tell me i will pass it on to him
and is going to try the first post by ekÆsine,
there is sound when i play it on my comp. but when i transfer it to the tele there is not, as i think i am right in saying s video cables do not carry audio
