I can't seem to get my DVD Drive to read DVDs. I must have changed something because it worked before. The computer only recognizes the drive as a CD RW drive instead of a DVD/CD RW drive. Does anybody know how to make the
computer recognize it? It plays and reads cds and it shows that the drive is a DVD RW drive.

I have Windows XP. Dell Dimension 3000. It has an internal CD RW drive, internal DVD ROM drive, and an external Pacific Digital DVD/CD RW drive that came with the DVD Burner Bundle 3.1

Try unplugging the hardware, rebooting, removing all the drivers etc for it then plugging it back in and installing it again.

Assuming your not worried about your Dell warranty.

I tried all the uninstalling and letting the computer find the drives again. I tried to update but it says it is already updated. I tried uninstalling Roxio and reinstalling it again but nothing still.
