Digital camera, choice help?

Hey guys ^^. Need your help again. I need to pick out a digital camera for my grandpa. I'm a newby when it comes to this, so i thought I'd ask. Also sorry if this is in the wrong section

He just needs something basic.... big screen, easy to use, clear, and simple layout to use. Also help with recommended storage cards would be great.

buy one from a camera maker as they know picture as oppose to specs. my old canon 2.1 mp took a way better picture than my sony 3.2mp. I now have a Kodak 4mp

I have a Canon A510. I like it alot, good pictures and easy to use. We also got a 512mb memory card on sale for $10 one day for it.
