Difference in Sound Cards

That really depends on your speakers and ears.

Since I can't ask what brand ears you have, what kind of speakers do you have?
 
i have those exact same speakers, i like them especially considering i got them for a steal.

but i used to have a X-Fi xtreme audio and the sound on that was a slightly better than onbard and i lived with it for about a year until recently i got a xtreme music card and there was a big difference in games but not so much of a difference in music. but it made my gaming experience a whole lot better, now i ca hear where people are just based on their foot steps.

but i would recommend getting this card instead,

Anything I should change? I wasen't sure about the headphones, so let me know.

Whats the difference between
Newegg.com - Logitech 980186-0403 Silver USB Connector USB Desktop Microphone

And

Newegg.com - Logitech 980463-0403 Desktop Microphone 600

Other then the USB? Would this effect the sound clarity?


Also, I noticed the Asus Xonar needs a 4 pin connector of some type, does it come with a power adapter for it?
 
There isn't any difference in those headphones, actually the specs seem exact o_O.

The Sennheiser's and the Xonar's look good mate, I'd get those!
