copying a dvd

is there a good free software to record dvds to my hd so i can burn them. my friend just got a dvd burner and wants to burn all my movies.

That's illegal you know. But anyway DVD Shrink is good. It's up to you what you use it for.

I use DVD Decrypter, and I know DVD Shrink is good.

Then I use Auto GK to turn them into DivX: http://www.autogk.me.uk/

Copying isn't illegal---it's distributing the copies that's illegal.

Thats the part that sounds Illegal too me, but as the above have said.. DVD Shrink,DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120% are all very good programs!
