copying audio files

hey, i was wondering wen copying or moving files onto another hard drive makes the sound quality worse, cause i did it several times already wen i had to reformat my HD. thanks..

are u moving them in them same cpu right? if yes, there's no way they can be worse in sound quality. except u move it to another harddrive in other pc. they may be sound worse or better depending on what sound card they have.
